THIS IS A PLASTIC PLATE, COVERED WITH THE IMAGE USING THE DECOUPAGE TECHNIQUE.IT IS NOT METAL or WOOD! I have been covering switchplates / wallplates / outlet covers and selling them on eBay for 20 years! I have hundreds of designs, but if there is a design or image that you want, please contact me and I will do my best to make that design just for you! My switchplates and outlet covers are handcrafted by me using a variety of material – fabric, wallpaper, art work etc. The material is decoupaged onto the plate, and then sealed and covered with a non-toxic sealer for a nice, durable finish that can be wiped clean, if necessary. Please use a damp cloth only and do not immerse them in water. White screws are included. How to Order:To order, choose the type of plate you want from the the drop-down menu, then the “Quantity,” and then “Add to Cart.” When you are finished shopping, go to your “Cart” to pay. Please keep in mind when choosing your plates that on the GFI type plates (with the larger openings), a large part of the plate has to be cut out. This is VERY important when choosing your pattern, as you do not want the main subject of your pattern to be cut out. This applies to outlet covers, as well.
