We got these modem kits with a group of other new products. We’re not sure about any data plan but assume it has none. Also, the info below is what I found looking on the internet. Please check your application to make sure you get the right part. There are a few parts for the antenna wiring as you can see from the photos but the wires are not included. The SMA Cellular LTE Modem Kit allows for direct data transmission between the Sunny Boy inverter to the cloud based Sunny Portal via a cellular network as an alternative to data transmission via Ethernet or WLAN. The SMA Cellular LTE Modem Kit transmits solar production data up to four times per day to Sunny Portal.
