1-1/4″ Wind Turbine Base with BUILT IN Set Mast Screw This stationary floor flange is designed to be bolted or anchored into a concrete foundation or hard ground.This base can be used to mount your wind turbine to concrete or hardened ground. Just cut your post to length, set inside and use the set screw to mount in place. This floor flange is made of malleable galvanized cast steel and is rust-resistant. Includes 5/16″ bolts, washers and nuts. The threaded 3 inch tall pipe adapter that comes with the flange is to be set inside the flange then the bottom of the pole can be threaded onto it. You will need another flange to mount the wind turbine to the top of the pole and then you can mount the whole set up to the ground. This flange and pipe adapter is not strong enough to hold a pole with a large heavy wind turbine. For added stability you could get a longer pole and set it into soil with concrete, much like one does with fence posts.
